Tokyo,\u00a024th\u00a0December\u00a02020\u00a0\u2013 Asia\u2019s leading fintech company<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Soft Space\u00a0<\/span>has announced that it\u00a0<\/span>is leveraging<\/span>\u00a0GMO Financial Gate Inc<\/span>\u2019s<\/span>. (\u201cGMO-FG\u201d)<\/span>, a consolidate<\/span>d<\/span>\u00a0company of GMO Internet Group<\/span>\u2019s GMO Payment Gateway, Inc.<\/span>, i<\/span>ts<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>advanced<\/span>\u00a0payment gateway\u00a0<\/span>technology in a bid\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>promote\u00a0<\/span>it<\/span>s<\/span>\u00a0payment solutions within<\/span>\u00a0the Japanese market.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Developed by Soft Space\u2019s homegrown technology, these suite of payment solutions capitalise on the convenience of smart devices to perform\u00a0<\/span>cashless\u00a0<\/span>card transactions<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>M<\/span>erchants and partners\u00a0<\/span>that adopt\u00a0<\/span>these payment solutions\u00a0<\/span>stand\u00a0<\/span>to benefit\u00a0<\/span>from\u00a0<\/span>being able to securely transact a<\/span>nd lower\u00a0<\/span>their cost of operation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00a0<\/span>an\u00a0<\/span>effort to\u00a0<\/span>further\u00a0<\/span>encourage contactless payments in Japan, Soft Space\u00a0<\/span>has\u00a0<\/span>launched its\u00a0<\/span>Fasstap, a\u00a0<\/span>Tap to Phone solution<\/span>\u00a0which was adopted by an\u00a0<\/span>auto-machine manufacturing company\u00a0<\/span>so that it can\u00a0<\/span>equip buses\u00a0<\/span>with\u00a0<\/span>the ability to accept card transactions on an Android<\/span>-based\u00a0<\/span>tablet.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This\u00a0<\/span>initiative\u00a0<\/span>is a first in Japan<\/span>\u00a0and is<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>endorsed by one of the largest global card\u00a0<\/span>schemes in\u00a0<\/span>an\u00a0<\/span>effort to spur contactless\u00a0<\/span>card acceptance<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>B<\/span>y providing Soft Space\u2019s solution to\u00a0<\/span>the auto-machine manufacturing company, this initiative supports Japan\u2019s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism initiativ<\/span>e where\u00a0<\/span>passengers\u00a0<\/span>can pay by simply tapping their contactless cards on a tablet equipped with Soft Space\u2019s solution.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
