Full-Time Position – based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

We are looking for an awesome User Experience Designer to join our creative team in our mission to perfect payments as social interactions. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting the future of our service. Our ammo is simplifying payment systems and prioritising a great user experience in our software development.

You will be working closely with software engineers and the rest of the design team to create – from initial information architecture to design – an amazing user experience.

Responsibilities

• Turn ideas and concepts into simple and engaging user experiences
• Translate requirements into simple interaction models
• Solve problems creatively
• Create architectural maps, interaction user flows, and wireframes
• Create user-centered designs and prototypes
• Design and conduct in-flight usability tests, collect and analyse data, and communicate the results in ways that are easy to digest, actionable, and facilitates quick decision making through a variety of channels – including but not limited to user testing, informal interviews, observation, surveys, and A/B testing
• Effectively communicate results and describe and/or illustrate suggestions for improvement
• Conduct product audits to identify bugs and usability issues during the development cycle
• Continually check for design consistencies

Requirements

• Promote and practices good usability and able to optimise the user experience for web and mobile
• Are anxious to work on a variety of platforms and products (mobile Applications for Apple iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows, & web portals)
• Has strong information visualisation skills
• Able to see the world through someone else’s eyes and building an interface that fits their visualisation
• Possesses the passion to push design into its next evolutionary stage
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines (IA, strategy, interaction design, code) and ideas about how to grow the intersections between them
• Able to sketch out ideas on paper before you diving into your prototyping tool of choice (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Mindmap Mindmanager, Axure, HTML & CSS)
• Know which details matter and have no fear of telling clients things they might need to know but are afraid to hear
• Communicate designs with the teams and clients using the appropriate media and fidelity
• Eager to see real people use your designs in usability studies – even if it makes you grit your teeth
• Think that copywriting is crucial to building a great UI
• Care for detail and pixel perfection
