Project Management Department
Full-Time Position – based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are looking for an awesome Project Manager who possesses strong technical background to work with our business team, creative team as well as software engineers.

Our business is dynamic – the world of payment is growing by the minute and customer behavior and expectations change rapidly as the market evolves.

At SOFT SPACE, we practice the agile methodology for project developments. You will be working closely with the business team on the project requirements, identify resources required, assign roles and responsibilities together with end-to-end planning to ensure timely completion.

You should be passionate about delivering extensible, on-time solutions and obsessed with contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal setting, continuous process improvement and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally with Software and Business teams to launch projects and provide ongoing technical support
• Balance business needs versus technical constraints
• Work with customers to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical/functional specifications for the team
• Identify interdependencies between concurrent projects to prevent downstream problems
• Enhance a project’s communication, efficiency, and success for a timely delivery
• Communicate well with clients – build crucial relationships, serving as the main contact for our customers/partners to help drive business initiatives
• Manage overall project delivery and cross-functional development
• Own the day-to-day sprint progress

Requiements

• Prior experience as Technical Product or Project Management with a record of successful delivery of software systems
• Experience in managing the complete software development lifecycle for software applications – driving cross functional initiatives
• Experience managing custom project development – from issuance of change request to UAT
• Ability to work independently, detail-oriented with strong prioritization and problem solving abilities
• Good written, verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding and proven experience working with the Agile process.
• Own the day-to-day sprint progress
