PETALING JAYA: Soft Space Sdn Bhd is set to mark its presence in Australia and New Zealand through partnership with Mint Wireless, Australia.

We are glad to announce our partnership with Mint Wireless Limited, a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX:MNW). Soft Space’s technology will power parts of Mint’s mobile payments solution in Australia and New Zealand.

In the Australian market, according to a global forecast by IE Market Research, mobile payments at the point of sale (mPOS) are predicted to grow 185% between 2014 and 2017, growing from $7 to $20 billion. In addition, the number of businesses that will be using mPOS worldwide is expected to grow from 8 million in 2013 to 18 million in 2017 according to the Annapolis Consulting Group.
